NEW POINT
the call, new
walk sideways, clip
at a pace, not known
surgery then
new point of axis
turn this into light
will spots into bleach
undo the crammed soul
jettison noose
the jive beckons
as if it has always been
speak then, if
speech is left
check arteries
touch heart, pulse
still there
hope—
